Business Coaching to Help Every Orphan’s Hope Increase Sponsorships by 20%; Product Sales by 40%
ActionCOACH’s pro bono business coaching program will help charity increase annual budget by 30%; sponsorships by 20%; raise the daily bread pledged funding by 10%; drive program participation up by 15% and augment product sales by 40%.
Las Vegas, NV, November 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In May, 1999, when Gary Schneider learned of the AIDS orphan crisis and the 11 million children who had lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, he began his life-long mission to protect and care for orphans affected by this deadly pandemic.
This commitment led to the establishment of Every Orphan’s Hope, an evangelism, discipleship, compassion and equipping ministry dedicated to providing loving care and protection to orphans in Africa.
Most recently, Schneider connected with Business Coach Rich Allen at the weekly Frisco Rotary Club in Frisco, Texas.
Allen, who is also the Chairperson of the Americas Regional Board for Coaching for a Cause, identified this charity as a good fit for ActionCOACH’s global cause-related marketing campaign and immediately enrolled them into Coaching for a Cause, a pro bono business coaching program for the charitable and non-profit world.
Schneider believes in the proverb: ‘Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.’
With the firm belief that his organization will benefit from Allen’s sound business advice, Schneider joined the campaign.
“I was impressed with Rich’s sincere interest in our mission and his desire to bring the best of all that ActionCOACH has to offer to our organization,” Schneider said. “It's our belief that Coaching for a Cause provides us with the experienced advisors to help us succeed.”
Only a few weeks into the coaching process and Schneider is already experiencing the benefits of business coaching in his charity.
“Having an experienced and professional Business Coach like Rich has helped us see areas of strengths and weaknesses in the organization that we didn't necessarily recognize ourselves,” he said. “This is allowing us to focus on priorities and objectives in order to accomplish the goals of our mission.”
Allen will help Schneider and his team focus on the different sources of revenue and identify opportunities to improve visibility, boost participation and increase contributions.
“With their current budget of approximately $900K, I will help them increase it by at least 30% for 2010,” Allen said. “My goal is also to help increase sponsorships by 20%; to raise the daily bread pledged funding by 10%; to drive the Expand Africa Trek participation up by 15% and augment product sales by 40 percent.”
According to Schneider, as a faith-based, donation-supported organization, economic trends hugely impact income for Every Orphan’s Hope.
“As a result of the economic crisis, the need for business coaching is even greater in non-profits and charities all over the world,” Allen said. “Coaching for a Cause is going to make a huge impact on the success of charitable organizations around the world.”
The brainchild of ActionCOACH’s founder and CEO Brad Sugars, Coaching for a Cause will help the non-profit and charitable sector raise at least $2.5 million in donations and funds within a six month period, ending March 31, 2010.
Coaching for a Cause is an innovative, new program from ActionCOACH, the world’s number one business and executive coaching firm that makes pro-bono coaching available to charities and non-profits worldwide.
