Nationally Known Oregon Artist, Lindy Gruger Hanson, is Represented by Tumalo Art Co. Gallery of Central Oregon

Bend, OR, November 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Tumalo Art Co., an art gallery in Central Oregon, is proud to announce the signing of a representation agreement with nationally known Oregon artist, Lindy Gruger Hanson. Lindy's original acrylic paintings and fine art giclee prints are available for sale at the Tumalo Art Co. located in Bend, Oregon.

Lindy graduated from Washington State University in 1981 with a bachelor's in Fine Art. Lindy's career has also included over 25 years as a graphic artist with 10 of those years being a freelancer in the advertising industry. Lindy has shown in art galleries located in Seattle, Washington; New York City; Portland, Oregon and now in Bend, Oregon. Lindy was chosen as Central Oregon's Deschutes Brewery Jubelale artist in 2007 and her painting graced Jubelale beer packaging in over 10 U.S. states. Recently her artistry has been featured in various publications including Bend's weekly newspaper, The Source, and Bend's arts and entertainment magazine, the A&E.

Lindy paints from her studio at her home in Southwest Bend. She creates paintings with a whimsical style, filled with odd shapes, interwoven line and vivid colors. Recently she has been creating whimsical bird paintings. Lindy says, "My aim is to create art with the belief that art can inspire people, it can help to heal, make a house a home, and bring joy and positive energy into the world!" Although she has different themes in her work, all her paintings feature her unique, joyful style. Lindy also has a greeting card and bookmark line that features her artwork.
