ArtFire to Host Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale
ArtFire aids their artisan sellers in preparation for the shopping holiday with new features.
Tucson, AZ, November 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- To help their artisan members during the holiday season, ArtFire is hosting a Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale, in which artisans will join together to offer special deals to encourage more shoppers to choose artisan goods for the holiday season.
ArtFire is putting together Cyber Monday and Black Friday trend pages, where artisans can self tag items they are placing on sale for the event. The items appearing in these trend pages will be randomly pulled for display on the front page during the shopping weekend. When shoppers first visit the site, they will only see sale items from ArtFire’s Pro members on the front page.
To aid shoppers looking for deals, ArtFire has also just released their new promo labels, which act as an overlay over an item’s main image. These promo labels allow shoppers to quickly identify items marked as being discounted, part of a coupon offer, part of a buy one get one free offer, having free shipping, or offering a free gift with purchase.
“Most of our members are having a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale in their studios, and we wanted to help support them in their endeavor,” said John Jacobs, CEO of ArtFire.com. “These new tools will make it easier for shoppers to support local artisans this holiday season.”
