The Financial Love Triangle Book Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of Helping Couples Align Love and Money

In Celebration of Book’s One-Year Anniversary, Authors Offer Free Admission to a 2010 Financial Webinar for Couples

Denver, CO, November 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In today's world when money is tight, emotions are high and everyone is focused on making ends meet, the money you have (or more likely don't have) can be a major source of conflict in many relationships. Authors of The Financial Love Triangle: Yours, Mine & Ours announced today that in celebration of the book’s one-year anniversary of helping couples worldwide align the love and money in their lives, everyone who orders a book in November from www.financiallovetriangle.com will receive free admission to a 2010 Financial Webinar hosted by authors Daniel G. Kusel, CFA and Larissa L. Kusel.

“Weddings, day care, college, home buying: These concepts can be scary if you aren't prepared,” said Steven C. Schmidle, vice president of finance, Elevations Federal Credit Union. “But, The Financial Love Triangle explains how you can plan for the future with confidence, while making your relationship stronger. As the old saying goes, 'Knowledge is power,' and the Kusels have shown through real-life stories and humorous insight how you can make money a less threatening topic in your relationship.”

Starting in January 2010, the Kusels will be rolling out monthly Financial Webinars that will provide couples with the knowledge they need to engage in a positive dialogue with each other on the often taboo topic of finances and relationships. The first three scheduled Webinars include:

- Kicking Off the New Year Financially Confident (January)
- Getting Hold of the Family Budget (February)
- Developing Life’s Financial Plan (March)

Everyone is invited to attend the 2010 Webinars, but those who purchase a book in November will receive free admission to one of the Webinars and will secure their spot in the Webinar of their choice. The authors want to make the Webinars as interactive as possible, so participation is limited to 20 people (or 10 couples) for each event.

“We want to thank all of our readers and supporters during the first year of launching our book,” said Author Larissa Kusel. “To do so, we are happy to be able to offer a series of financial workshops during 2010 that will focus on how couples can become more comfortable talking about money and making financial plans that satisfy both individuals’ goals.”

Dan and Larissa Kusel's experience with finances and relationships offers a balanced mix of real-world, industry-specific and academic credentials. This husband and wife duo provides a wealth of financial basics and strategies in The Financial Love Triangle for identifying and communicating common fears about money so that couples can have the tools to plan for the future with confidence, while making their relationships stronger.

“Extremely informative, yet not bogged down with heavy financial terms, this book relates helpful, practical, real life solutions and tips for managing finances,” said Dana Berry, Denver area. “Larissa and Dan convey this information in an easy-to-read, personable format. I enjoyed the first-person narrative and the stories Larissa shares about her life in addition to her friends' and families' lives. I am recommending this book most of all to young couples who are first starting out in their relationships. It should be a pre-requisite book before anyone opens a joint checking account or makes any financial decisions!"

"My husband and I have a pretty similar view of money and its importance in our lives, but we are still finding your suggested methods of communication very beneficial,” said Jennifer D’Amico, Toronto area. “We had a good laugh last night when we answered the reflection questions for each other. For the most part, we knew each other's thoughts so well, but we laughed a lot about the use of credit cards, and when it's okay to pull one out ... I say never, he says whenever. We really are enjoying the book."
