Students Help Students Affected by Fire

Oregon City, OR, November 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Students and teachers at Trinity Lutheran School in Oregon City are working together to support the students and teachers of Marysville Elementary School in SE Portland. The students, understanding what it must be like to lose all of your school materials and supplies, are collecting new supplies and classroom library books to donate to the school's children. Meanwhile, the teachers, knowing what it takes to build up a classroom of teaching supplies are digging through all they can find to donate to those teachers who have lost everything. They have gathered bulletin board items, and even their own book credit at a local store so that teachers can purchase new professional materials. Moreover, the students are making cards of encouragement for those students whom they do not know for whom they empathize.
