Cape Coral Renewable Energy Company Introduces New Solar Powered Air Conditioning Product
Cape Coral solar energy company, Fafco Solar, debuts new solar powered air conditioning product at Charlotte County Energy Conference.
Cape Coral, FL, November 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On November 1-2, Fafco Solar, Cape Coral’s leading renewable energy company, participated in the Southwest Florida Green Futures Expo and Energy Options Conference in Charlotte County. They debuted a new solar powered air conditioning product which received great response, making the energy expo and convention a tremendous success.
The expo was sponsored by the Charlotte County Building Construction Services in conjunction with the Economic Development Office. Its purpose was to bring together representatives from major companies and organizations in the alternative energy industry who were able to discuss issues, strategies and the future of the industry.
The product, manufactured by Sedna Aire, is designed to use solar thermal collectors to drive the cooling process in the unit which decreases the amount of electricity used in cooling. It employs a more ozone-friendly refrigerant than the standard A/C refrigerant currently used, to minimize the impact on the earth’s ozone layer.
