Fluendo Launches the Long Awaited DVD Player for Open Solaris

Barcelona, Spain, November 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- After the success obtained with the Fluendo DVD Player for Linux, Open Solaris users expressed their desire for Fluendo DVD Player to be able to playback DVDs on their operating system. Ever since its first release last July, the Open Solaris community have been waiting for a legal solution capable of integrating an application that profits from Fluendo audio and video codecs to reproduce DVDs.
Attending their needs, Fluendo launches the Fluendo DVD Player for Open Solaris which includes all the functionalities contained in its original version for Linux: full DVD support with menus, multiple angles and subtitles, encrypted discs and integration with the GStreamer framework.
