Palo Alto, CA, November 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- AltaTerra Research is pleased to announce that President, Don Bray, will moderate the next in their series of online discussions with Bob Willard, author of The Sustainability Advantage and The Next Sustainability Wave. The web conference, “Making the Case for Sustainable Business: Smart Strategies Driving the Bottom Line,” will be held Thursday, December 10th at 9 a.m. Pacific / 12 noon Eastern.
This event will describe how to integrate sustainability strategies to help increase company value, position sustainability strategies to achieve existing corporate financial goals, and quantify the potential bottom-line benefits of operating more sustainably.
“The format of this event is one that has been proven to be particularly effective for executive education,” said Don Bray, President of AltaTerra Research. “Participants will have access to Dr. Willard’s video presentation, ‘The Business Case for Sustainability,’ before the event. Then, in the live session, we’ll briefly review the material and devote much of the time to questions and discussion.”
By the end of the web conference, participants will be able to explain how to increase company value and success by integrating sustainability strategies with business strategies, identify market forces that could jeopardize companies' value if they fail to be more environmentally and socially responsible, and quantify seven potential financial bottom-line benefits of committing to sustainability strategies and behaviors.
This web conference follows on the success of the first event in AltaTerra’s series with Bob Willard, “Leading Sustainability Change—from the Center.” The video, presentation slides, and recording from this event are available for sale at http://altaterra.yourmembership.com/general/shop.asp?id=393129.
