The Hope Process Names Met’s Legend Ed Kranepool as National Spokesman and Executive Director

Westbury, NY, November 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Hope Process today announced Met’s Legend, Ed Kranepool, as it’s national spokesman and Executive Director. The Hope Process, a division of IRN payment systems, enables IRN’s customers to donate to charities based on a percentage of their credit card processing fees that would normally be collected by IRN as profit.

“We are honored that Ed decided to come on as our National Spokesman and Executive Director,” said Dino Squelia President and Founder of IRN Payment Systems. “Having a person of Ed’s stature as our spokesman will go a long way to bringing on new merchants and further helping charities.”

The Hope Process program is simple. If you are a merchant and you currently accept credit cards, you are being charged fees by your credit card processor. Simply switch your processing over to The Hope Process, a program of IRN Payment Systems – an industry leader for over 21 years in providing credit card processing. Once you make the switch The Hope Process will give back to you or the charitable organization of your choice 100% of the net profitability from those processing fees. After the first year, 25% of the net profitability is given back for as long as you stay a customer of IRN’s The Hope Process.

“I am looking forward to growing the Hope Process,” said Ed Kranepool newly appointed National Spokesman and Executive Director of the Hope Process. “Over ten years ago I started the Ed Kranepool Foundation to raise money for the American Diabetes Association and The Hagerdon Little Village School. Creating a steady stream of revenue for these worthy causes has always been difficult. With the Hope Process we are now able to provide a consistent stream of revenue on an annual basis to worthy charities.”

Born in the Bronx, New York, Kranepool played 17 seasons as a New York Met. When he retired after the 1979 season at the age of 34, he left as the all-time club leader in eight offensive categories, of which he still leads in five (at-bats: 5436; hits: 1418; doubles: 225; pinch hits 90; and total bases: 2047). He has also played more games in a Met uniform (1853) than any other player. Ed Kranepool was inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 1990.

“The Hope Process is an amazing program. Charities can create a steady flow of income, merchants can donate to their favorite charities and it doesn’t cost one dime more than they are currently paying for their credit card processing. It this current economic climate, the Hope Process provides merchants a chance to donate to their favorite charity without affecting their bottom line – and they can possibly qualify for a tax deduction as well. A true win-win scenario,” concluded Kranepool.
