Orange & Bronze Participates as the Only Asian Sponsor in SpringOne 2GX
First Philippine-based SpringSource partner Orange & Bronze Software Labs Inc. made another important milestone as it participated in the recently concluded SpringOne 2GX and was the only Asian sponsor to join this year.
Manila, Philippines, November 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SpringOne 2GX is a yearly event hosted by SpringSource, where innovations in open-source technology are highlighted and shared--an event made by esteemed developers for fellow developers worldwide. The recent event was held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans and graced by keynote speakers who are known to be instrumental forces behind the development of the Spring and Grails platform.
Among the much awaited presenters were Spring framework creator Rod Johnson, Grails co-founder Graeme Rocher, and SpringSource's Head of Groovy Development Guillaume LaForge. They provided a technical exploration of Spring and informed the developer community regarding the latest developments in the Groovy and Grails space. Aside from speakers' sessions, the latest Spring and Grails projects were presented too and important issues surrounding open-source applications were also discussed.
Inspired by this recently concluded SpringOne 2GX and all the fresh developments discussed in the said event, Orange & Bronze Software Labs Inc. will host SpringGrails Asia 2010 in Manila, Philippines to let Asian developer communities learn about the latest happenings under SpringSource technologies. The event is set to take place this coming January 2010, right at the Hotel Intercontinental in Makati City. This one-day-only free learning event will be facilitated by esteemed guest speakers as well as Orange & Bronze's own seasoned software architects and engineers. A series of speakers' sessions and workshops will be lined up for the whole day.
