The BOSS Network - Ladies That Lead Luncheon - November 21, 2009
Chicago, IL, November 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- BOSS™ -- "Bringing Out Successful Sisters” presents the “Ladies that Lead Luncheon.” This series will honor exceptional Chicago women in education, business, administration and mentorship who are dedicated to guiding and empowering our youth and making a difference in their respective communities. The inaugural event, will be hosted by Hip-Hop Icon and youth advocate, MC Lyte.
The luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (CST) at the beautiful Marmon Grand Ball Room (2230 S. Michigan Avenue). Attendees will be treated to lunch, an in depth round table discussion lead by Chicago Public School professional developers, Nicole J. Monroe and Taneshia Wilson-Kilgore, and a chance to win a grant to attend Applied Scholastics’ Educator Institute, courtesy of MC Lyte. The Educator Institute is a 3-day retreat providing interactive hands-on training, techniques and strategies on teaching our youth, held at the Applied Scholastics International Training Center in St. Louis, Mo. (training, meals and accommodations included).
