Oldsmar, FL, November 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott in Oldsmar have recently become members of the Florida Green Lodging Program. This is following Marriott International’s announcement of plans to make its global headquarters and up to 30 hotels, in design and under construction, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.

Properties must submit environmental performance data based on their water, waste and energy usage annually along with implementing at least two new eco-friendly practices in the areas of sustainable operations.
