Jiawei’s Modules on World Largest Solar Tracking Street Light System
Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., November 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Jiawei supplies high efficient solar panels for the world largest and most efficient solar LED street lighting system in Dazu Yingbin Avenue of Chongqing city. China, The highest efficient and sun tracking LED lighting system completion ceremony were held on 9th November, 2009. Representatives from different local government departments, business representativeness and local residents witnessed the world largest solar LED street lighting system starts to work.
The Dazu Yingbin Avenue’s 4.3 kilometers LED lighting system not only can automatically track the sun radiation allowing the panels to receive sun light more efficiently but also have high conversion rate as well. As the systems tracks the sun and allowing more sun radiation to be received, each single light can achieve up to 800W per day and thus making the whole lighting system zero C02 emission. A rough estimate, the system would be saving 87MW of electricity per year, and is expected to reduce C02 emission by 800ton a year. In the next 20 years it would accumulate 16000 tons less emission, truly realizing high efficient lighting system from renewable energy. The project also symbolizes the start Chongqing solar projects. Jiawei supplied 90W JW-S series high efficient solar panels mark the distinct advantage of this project. The whole LED light project is built on Dazu Country main highway, Yingbin Avenue, the system comprised of 274 road lamps, each using 2 pieces of Jiawei’s 90W high efficient solar panels.
