Solutions Provider to Unveil New Exhibit at Medica-Compamed Fair
Bal Seal Engineering, Inc. has announced that it will roll out a new exhibit at Medica-Compamed, an international trade far to be held November 18th-21st, 2009 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Foothill Ranch, CA, November 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Bal Seal, a firm with a 20-year history of supplying worldwide medical device and electronics manufacturers with custom-engineered sealing, connecting, conducting and shielding/grounding solutions, says it designed the new exhibit to “attract, engage and inform” show attendees. According to the company, the 32m2 display, located in Hall 8b, Stand L27, will blend both static and dynamic media.
Consisting of about 80 individual segments, the back wall of the exhibit will form a mosaic that addresses engineering challenges and potential solutions. A large, flat-screen HD television and a series of digital frames fixed throughout the space will be used to loop new photorealistic animation sequences that depict Bal Seal products in medical device and medical electronics applications. Products and demonstration samples will also be displayed.
“We’ve made some significant changes in our approach to this year’s [Medica-Compamed] show,” Bal Seal Market Manager Roland Reichert confirms. “This is one of the most well-attended shows of its kind in the world, so we wanted to capture visitors’ attention and communicate our value to them in a very short amount of time. This new exhibit helps us accomplish that by allowing us to acknowledge some of the design challenges, or ‘pains’ our customers face – and by enabling us to prominently feature the core solutions we offer.”
According to Reichert, Bal Seal attends the Medica-Compamed event annually in order to identify “innovation partners.” By collaborating with these partners at the beginning of the product development cycle, he says, the company is often able to streamline the advancement and introduction of new medical technology.
Reichert cites a recent spinal fixation application as one example of just such an innovation partnership. Using its Canted-coilä spring technology as a foundation, Bal Seal worked closely with the OEM’s engineers to devise a fastening solution that resulted in a performance and reliability breakthrough.
Medica-Compamed attendees can see Bal Seal’s new exhibit and learn more about the company’s line of custom-engineered connecting, sealing, conducting and shielding solutions by visiting Stand L27 in Hall 8b. Animated sequences featuring the Canted-coilä spring and other solutions for medical devices/medical electronics can be viewed before, during and after the show at http://mediaroom.balseal.com/vod.
