Stonebridge Companies Announces New e-Commerce Manager, Melissa Madtson

To that end, Stonebridge Companies, a progressive leader in hotel development and property management, has announced that Melissa Madtson is their new e-Commerce Manager. She will be responsible for all aspects of electronic marketing including online brand management, lead generation, email marketing, affiliate marketing, events and promotions, social networking, web design and copy writing, search engine optimization/search engine marketing, and pay per click advertising.

Ms. Madtson will partner with Stonebridge Companies’ Revenue Management and Sales and Marketing Departments to maximize revenue generating efforts for the forty hotels they currently operate and to provide innovation and direction strategies. She will also manage relationships with brand e-Commerce reps to ensure the effective use of programs and pricing, work with online travel agencies such as hotels.com, Expedia and Travelocity, and monitor guest comment sites as well. Stonebridge Companies currently has brand relationships with Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Carlson Hotels, and Intercontinental Hotels Group.

In prior positions with Breakthrough Management Group International and Outback Steakhouse Incorporated, Ms. Madtson was also responsible for creating radio promotions and contests within specified markets across the U.S and for writing the copy points to be used in those events. She also created press releases for in-house and regional events, maintained marketing budgets, and prepared monthly reports and recaps of regional competitive activity. Melissa will produce copy for Stonebridge Companies as a part of her role as e-Commerce Manager.
