Combi® Launches New Compact Convertible Car Seat
The Coccoro™ is designed to fit smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles.
Fort Mill, SC, November 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Because consumers have asked for a car seat that fits their lifestyle and is easier to use, Combi is launching a new lightweight and compact convertible car seat.
The Coccoro weighs just 11 lb, a feature that sets it apart from other convertible car seats in the market. The low weight of the seat makes it easier to handle as well as easier to install. The compact size fits smaller vehicles such as the Toyota Corolla—three Coccoro’s can be installed in the rear-seat of more fuel efficient vehicles.
Although it’s smaller in size, it’s not small on features. The seat can accommodate infants weighing 5–33 lb rear facing and 20–40 lb forward facing. Energy absorbing foam provides side impact protection. Forward and rear facing lock-offs, a one-pull adjustable harness, shoulder belt retainers and the Tru-Safe® Buckle allow for easier use. The Coccoro also features four height adjustment slots and a removable infant insert to allow for adjustments as the child grows.
The Coccoro is available in a variety of fun, vibrant and sophisticated colors and retails for $199. Coccoro™ and Tru-Safe® are trademarks of Combi USA, Inc.
