BHI Advanced Internet Promotes Growth of Information Technology Field by Hosting Perspective ITT Technical Institute Students

Minneapolis, MN, November 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- High school students from Anoka, Blaine, Andover, Champlin Park and Coon Rapids were invited to join ITT Technical Institute for a tour of BHI Advanced Internet’s Network Operations Center and company facility. The perspective ITT students had the opportunity to observe Implementation and Support services as well as the Information Security and Data Center operations.

As technology continues to play an integral role in the successful operations of companies worldwide, more educated IT professionals are needed to properly implement it in a efficient and secure manner. “Information Technology is the basis of a highly functional and security-centric organization. We provide our customers with services that promote the use of intelligent technology to benefit overall business” Andrew Brooker, Director of Information Security at BHI Advanced Internet, said. ITT Technical Institute is focused on technology-oriented programs of study, including the Schools of Information Technology and Electronics Technology. “We like to see students that are excited about potential careers in the IT field. While touring the BHI facility, students were given a behind-the-scenes look at the Data Center, and had the opportunity to observe Support operations. “It is our goal to show these young students the opportunities available to them by continuing their education after high school” Perrill said. Meeting professionals in the field gives students a better understanding of what an Information Technology degree can help them achieve. “We hire the highest caliber of employees in order to provide our customers with the best service” Perrill said.
