Remington College-Mobile Campus Introduces Process Control Engineering Technology Program
Associate of Applied Science Degree Program trains students for work in the field of Industrial Technology and Process Monitoring.
Mobile, AL, November 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Remington College - Mobile Campus is enrolling students for its new Process Control Engineering Technology (PCET) associate degree program. The PCET program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to qualify for entry-level positions as plant operators in a variety of manufacturing and processing industries.
PCET students can earn their associate of applied science degree in as few as 24 months with a combination of theory and hands-on training designed to help equip students with the skills they will need in the workforce. The program provides training in the monitoring and control of processing equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, boilers and furnaces. Students will also receive instruction in troubleshooting, problem solving, safety awareness and product quality testing.
Remington College-Mobile Campus also offers degree programs in Computer and Network Administration, Criminal Justice and Electronics and Computer Technology. Additionally, diploma programs are offered in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding and Pharmacy Technician. The campus is located at 828 Downtowner Loop West in Mobile.
