AchieveGlobal UK Measures Up to Training Performance Assessment
Global skills development and training provider AchieveGlobal has announced the launch of a strategic partnership with Knowledge Advisors, a leading provider of learning and talent measurement solutions, to help clients measure the value of training.
Albury, United Kingdom, November 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- AchieveGlobal UK is working with Knowledge Advisors to create and support new post-course evaluation methodologies aimed at assessing the real benefits of investing in training initiatives.
Comments Mike Hawthorne, Managing Director of AchieveGlobal UK
“Measuring the precise return on investment in training is notoriously difficult. While the process of quantifying the results in financial terms can only be taken so far, the techniques we have developed with Knowledge Advisors, together with our joint experience will enable us to help clients identify the wider and more long-term benefits of skills development and team-building, which are often intangible. By identifying what is working and where modification is required, we can increase the overall effectiveness of training programmes and bring about significant change.”
Details of the new service were unveiled at an introductory seminar entitled ‘Measuring the Impact of Training’, held recently at the Oxford Belfry. Jeffrey Berk, Chief Operating Officer from Knowledge Advisors, gave an overview of the new measurement methodologies being developed by the two companies and explained how these can be applied to training.
In addition, the seminar explored what type of data is potentially available for analysis and how to use this information to manage training programmes effectively.
The view from those attending the day’s event was extremely positive. “I came here to learn more about measuring the impact of training - I leave with a good overview” commented one delegate.
