Classic Rock Band OCD Signed for Appearance Dates

The increasingly Popular classic rock band OCD, known throughout California as the preeminent band covering songs from the 60's through the present, has just signed an important deal with local music venue.

Huntington Beach, CA, October 07, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The extremely popular, Orange County based, classic rock band, OCD, has just been booked to appear at Perq’s nightclub, with dates extending out six months into 2007, according to band publicist James Boyle. The very popular night spot and concert venue which has hosted some of the very best in live musical entertainment, “has sort of become our home base,” according to Boyle.

One of the things that makes this band so popular with audiences is their attention to detail in reproducing songs by artists as varied as Deep Purple, The Doors, The Beatles, Great White and many others.

“The thing that keeps me coming back to see these guys is the fact that they don’t play the same worn out copy tunes that all the other cover bands play around here” remarked club patron Pat Bowers. She added that “while they play very popular songs, and are very danceable, they are a breath of fresh air if you frequent the club circuit.”

Perq’s Nightclub is a Huntington Beach piece of history, being the oldest rock and blues house in Orange County. They are centrally located at 117 Main Street across from the Huntington Beach Pier.
