Historic Galveston Hotel Offers Escape from Malls with Downtown Shopping Discount for the Holidays

In addition to shopping downtown, Galveston will celebrate the holidays with events at Saengerfest Park on Saturdays. The Grand 1894 Opera House and ETC at the Strand Theatre will also feature holiday-themed shows in December. The Grand 1894 Opera House will host the City of Houston Ballet for their performance of “The Nutcracker” on Dec. 12 and 13. ETC at the Strand Theatre (East-End Theatre Company), located across the street from The Tremont House, will present “A Broadway Christmas Carol” on Thursdays through Sundays through Dec. 19.
