Yats Wine Cellars hold public wine tasting of France’s Greatest Wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Loire, Languedoc-Roussillon this Saturday 28th November at Somerset Hotel Legaspi Makati for ticket price p1,000.
Metro Manila, Philippines, November 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- YATS Wine Experience - a public wine tasting event with no sponsors, advertisers, wine merchants or any wine salesman, just people who love wine and want to have a good time while enjoying each other's company at the same time.
Format of YATS Wine Tasting
YATS Wine Cellars regularly hold non-commercial wine tasting to help wine enthusiasts expand their knowledge of wine in a most enjoyable and affordable way. These tastings are different from other commercial tastings. The wines from these tastings are not sponsored by a wine merchant and there are no salesmen. You are in the company of people from all ages and all walks with one common interest – wine.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at a discount. Each ticket comes with five tasting stubs. The wines are lined up at a wine service station. Present a ticket at this station to surrender a stub to redeem a tasting pour (roughly 55ml) of a wine of your choice.
Someone will always be available to answer questions or discuss topics pertinent to the theme of the wines in the event. Otherwise the event is a self-paced tasting exercise that is the most economical way to sample expensive and rare wines.
Theme of this event
After two years of explorations into many areas and aspects of wine appreciation, Yats Wine Experience returns to what is arguably ground zero of wine – France. An eclectic selection of wines from France’s five greatest wine regions will be presented. The five regions are Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Loire and Languedoc-Roussillon. Their wines not only comprise of different grape varieties even the styles of the wines and the techniques used in the making of their wines are quite different.
The objective of this Wine Experience event is to offer us the opportunity to appreciate their respective styles.
About the Wines
Included in this tastings are some slightly aged wines as well as reds and whites that are probably designed for early drinking. The lineup is usually quite large so participants have to pick and choose the wines to taste. There are enough bottles to accommodate all the tickets sold. Bottles are not replenished after they have been consumed. Pouring size is as usual around 50-55ml.
