MiniCo Publishing Seeks Entries for Outstanding Green Facility Award

Phoenix, AZ, December 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "Mini-Storage Messenger," the highly respected monthly trade periodical for the self-storage industry and flagship publication of MiniCo Publishing, continues its 22-year history of honoring the best in self-storage with the first annual Outstanding Green Facility award. Selection will be based on the following criteria:

· Energy-efficient features
· Water-efficient features
· Use of innovative, unique, environmentally friendly building materials
· Challenges overcome during building
· LEED certification
· Overall design and landscaping
· Indoor air quality
· Overall environmental impact of facility
· Green marketing techniques

The competition is open to all self-storage facilities, and entries may be submitted by owners, operators, builders, managers or others.
