Lifetree Adventures Announces Trips for Women in 2010
Lifetree Adventures will be where the needs are the greatest, so that you can make a difference in the lives of the people determined to restore their communities.
Loveland, CO, December 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Due to strong demand, Lifetree Adventures has added two new trips for women to their itinerary roster for 2010. Women looking to travel together can now join the New Orleans trip October 10-15 or the Israel trip November 7-18.
Lifetree Adventures is about both journeys: the one that reaches out to others…and the journey toward a deeper walk with God. Far beyond a tourist experience, a Lifetree Adventure places travelers squarely in the midst of people in need. The immersion into their daily lives and communities transcends any travel agent’s agenda. Travelers will serve people who, despite their challenging circumstances, have so much to give.
New Orleans Trips for Women – October 10-15, 2010
Lifetree Adventures will be where the needs are the greatest, so that you can make a difference in the lives of the people determined to restore their communities. The work of cleaning and repairing damaged houses will be messy, dirty and hard, but you’ll be standing side-by-side with the people of New Orleans who have come back to rebuild their homes, and reclaim their neighborhoods.
Day 1 Arrive in New Orleans and transfer to the hotel
Day 2 Half-day City Tour of Jackson Square, visit St Louis Cathedral, hop on a river boat and cruise the Mississippi and have a Creole lunch, and shop the Riverwalk Marketplace. Dinner is on your own.
Day 3 Service will be the many areas still affected by Hurricane Katrina
Day 4 Serve Katrina-struck communities with home repair and clean-up projects
Day 5 Serve Katrina-struck communities with home repair and clean-up projects. Enjoy a final dinner with your group before leaving the Big Easy
Day 6 Transfer to your hotel for your return flight home
Israel Trips for Women – November 7-18, 2010
You’ll also be able to help out at a hospital and spend time in a Jewish community, cleaning and repairing homes for the elderly—men and women who have seen much sadness and suffering in their lifetimes. By helping others with health problems or physical limitations, you’ll find yourself extending the same kind of compassion and healing love that Jesus shared with His people in this very same place.
Day 1 Arrive in Israel and transfer to your hotel in Netanyal
Day 2 Visit Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, and Megiddo (Valley of Armageddon)
