Storm Smart Employees Deliver Thanksgiving Meals to Needy Families
The Storm Smart fleet was on the road Thanksgiving morning, but instead of being filled with state-of-the-art hurricane protection products, they were filled with turkeys, pies and all the other foods necessary for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
Fort Myers, FL, November 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Storm Smart Industries, the largest and hurricane protection company in Florida spent Thanksgiving Day dealing with a different local emergency, hunger.
The Storm Smart fleet was on the road Thanksgiving morning, but instead of being filled with state-of-the-art hurricane protection products, they were filled with turkeys, pies and all the other foods necessary for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal.
Employees of Storm Smart organized themselves and volunteered to work with Estero-based Lamb of God Lutheran Church in delivering Thanksgiving meals to dozens of families in need.
Storm Smart CEO, Brian Rist, states “While we normally spend our days helping our neighbors protect their homes from hurricanes, today we got the chance to help our neighbors celebrate Thanksgiving by ensuring they received a proper Thanksgiving meal.
