Sunnyvale, CA, December 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The first beta series based on the most commonly used RFID standard MIFARE Classic has been manufactured and is successfully verified by customers. The YubiKey RFID looks exactly like an ordinary Yubikey 2.0 and offers a reading distance of about 3 centimeters. During the first quarter 2010, the RFID YubiKey will be available for order in any volume and will eventually support MIFARE Plus and other more secure RFID standards.
