Artist Creates Maze Portrait for Gene Simmons

“I focused on making this maze as psychedelic as possible because the background alone had to meet the energy levels of Mr. Simmons” says Yonatan Frimer, the artist who created the maze. “Any maze or any photograph of Gene Simmons really screams to the audience, since it’s so vexing, so I had to make an extra effort to boost the captivation factor in combining the two.”
The maze is a portrait of Gene Simmons sticking out his signature tongue while sporting his full face make up that he is famous for. Gene appears at a bit of a skewed angle, and the background is of concentric psychedelic circles that invert from negative to positive. “It definitely invokes a double-take from anyone who walks or clicks past it.” Adds Nanwood.
