Vietnam Tour Wholesaler Aurora Travel Seeks Spanish Partners
Vietnam’s most respected Tour Wholesaler Aurora Travel is targeting Spain for expansion in 2010.
Hanoi, Vietnam, December 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Reporting higher revenue and earnings for its latest fiscal year, Aurora Travel Tuesday said it expects to expand in the Spanish tourism market by the first quarter of 2010. Chief Executive Nguyen Do Mai Anh said the company is currently undertaking due diligence on a Spanish company, which also has retail operations.
"We are particularly encouraged by the opportunities in Spain, which is expected to become one of the largest travel markets within the next few years," Mrs. Mai Anh said.
The Spanish travel and tourism market is forecast to show further expansion to 2010, with the outbound market again expected to show the most growth, despite the serious affects of the global recession. Aurora Travel said Tuesday that trading has strengthened in its major markets since October. Its main markets currently are the U.S, Australia, Germany, the Nordics, the Netherlands and Asian countries, but a push into Spain would mark a significant move to the Europe.
This Tour Wholesaler has been selling more all-inclusive holiday packages as well as accommodation at four and five star hotels in Indochina and Thailand, which are more profitable for the company. The Company also is negotiating for better deals with suppliers, particularly hotel groups, said Ms. Ngan Giang, Regional Director.
Signaling its confidence, the company is putting its heart in planning new tours and programs to meet the specific needs of this market as well as preparing with great attention to detail for its participation in the Spanish Travel and Tourism Fair (FITUR) to be held in Madrid from 20 to 24 January 2010.
