Ware and Associates Announces Its First Annual Reinvent Yourself Celebration - a New Year, New Start, New You
This event will be held on December 19th 2009 at the historic Detroit Association of Women's Clubs Building, 5461 Brush Street in Detroit from 6-10 PM.
Detroit, MI, December 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The purpose of this event is to celebrate 2009 accomplishments, showcase various businesses and organizations, plan for 2010, and meet like-minded entrepreneurs during this energetic evening of celebration and networking.
Iris Ware, CEO and founder of Ware and Associates says “The last few years have been very challenging for those of us living in Southeastern Michigan. 2009 was particularly pivotal in that many of us came to the realization that the work world and workforce as we have know it in years past, no longer exists.
“In 2009, we were challenged to reflect on our skills and talent, and reposition ourselves to meet the demands of the market. This realization resulted in the birth of many new small businesses, non-profit organizations, consulting firms and other self-employment start-up ventures.”
In addition to her consulting firm, Iris Ware has recently formed a non-profit organization entitled Economic Empowerment Training Center (EETC). The goal of EETC is to offer to individuals, businesses and agencies high quality programs related to job seeking, career planning, skills assessment, training, retraining and preparing youths and young adults for career success.
