Founding Member of 9-12 Project Stands for Election to Congress
Inspired by the patriots all over this great nation who came together to protest the federal government’s bailouts, TARP, the stimulus package, cap and trade, and public health care, Dr. Dan Eichenbaum enters Congressional race in NC District 11.
Asheville, NC, December 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Today, America sits on the edge of a financial abyss. Our government is controlled by a cabal of interchangeable thieves and liars who sacrifice principle for political expediency and who run for public office for personal gain. The federal government disregards the Constitution, tramples on individual liberties, and ignores its citizens when they demonstrate peacefully for a redress of grievances. Dr. Dan Eichenbaum, a practicing ophthalmologist, loving husband and father, and a founding member of the Cherokee County 9-12 project intends to change that by standing for election to Congress in North Carolina’s 11th District.
Inspired by the efforts of ordinary citizens all over this great nation who came together to protest the federal government’s bailouts for private corporations, TARP, the stimulus package, the Cap and Trade bill, and Health Care legislation, Dr. Dan lists three critical priorities that require urgent resolution:
Jobs, the Economy, and the Deficit
Healthcare
Energy Independence
Dr. Eichenbaum, like our nation’s founders, knows that the best and most efficient solution to each of these issues is to reduce or remove government interference and allow the free market to function properly.
Illustrating this point Dan states,
“As your congressional representative, it is my duty to address and fix each of these issues as rapidly as possible within the framework of our Constitution.
“To take back our government and reestablish the Constitution as the law of the land, we must elect statesmen, not politicians, to Congress. Those words have been spoken and promised in the past, but the American people are demanding that both political parties stop paying lip service to that concept. This election cycle, voters must seek out and support principled conservative candidates without political baggage who will restore and adhere to the concepts of limited government, individual freedom, personal responsibility, fiscal restraint based on sound money, and free market solutions to our nation’s problems.”
Dr. Dan Eichenbaum is a registered Republican residing in Cherokee County, NC. He, his wife Rhonda, and their daughter Joy participated in the April 15th Tea Party in Atlanta, GA and are founding members of the Cherokee County 9-12 Project. Their son, CJ, is a student at UNC-Charlotte, member of the College Republicans, and is currently enrolled in the USMC Platoon Leaders Course.
