HolidayCheck Launches Its New Site
HolidayCheck, one of the largest European and independent travel-related portals, officially launches the enhanced .com site. Usability and design have been improved, new tools and features have been implemented, making it even easier for users and Hoteliers to benefit from the available services.
Bottighofen, Switzerland, December 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- HolidayCheck officially launches the enhanced .com site. Usability and design have been improved, making it even easier for users to submit hotel and cruise reviews, upload their own holiday pictures and videos and share their travel experiences with others.
“The launch of the new .com site is extremely significant”, says Friedrich Scanzoni, Managing Director of the International department. “Ten years ago HolidayCheck was a small German company run by a circle of friends, and today the company is the largest European travel portal, made up of almost 200 professionals and has platforms in 10 different languages.”
The usability enhancements are evident right from the homepage. The process of submitting contributions has been streamlined, making it much easier for users to write their reviews and assign pictures and videos to them. The 'Watch List', a newly-introduced tool, enables users to compare the hotels on their list and gain a general overview of pros and cons at a glance.
A feedback box is already available on the HolidayCheck site. Users can inform them about errors they find or suggest changes which will contribute to improving the service HolidayCheck offers.
Users are not the only ones to benefit from the new site. The HotelManager, the account expressly conceived for Hoteliers and completely free of charge, has also been enhanced. In addition to analysing their hotel performance and comparing it with that if competitors, Hoteliers will continue to publish news and communicate with their guests by answering their reviews. New tools are the manual guest questionnaires, which may be handed out to guests directly at the hotel, and the possibility of adding up to 6 questions to the HolidayCheck online questionnaire. Both can be used for statistical purposes.
With the relaunch of the .com site, HolidayCheck wants to offer a simplified and more effective portal, where users can gain a comprehensive insight of their holiday destination and book their trips with confidence, thanks to a database of over 180.000 hotels worldwide. On the other hand, Hoteliers finally have at their disposal an important platform providing excellent visibility.
