PDA: Robert Repetto, Morten Munk and Stephen Brown are all part of the Task Force for the PDA (parental Drug Association) for Single-Use Systems. The group are currently bringing out a white paper document meant to be an industry guide on implementing disposables and the use of them in Biomanufacturing. This is very important as no one is currently coming out with guidelines on them and the regulatory bodies are keep fairly quiet on this.
BPSA: The BPSA are a very good source of industry guidelines on single-use systems and produce a lot of papers on extractables and leachables, cost effectiveness, Environmental impact etc.
They also have free content available in their download centre including an interview with Dr Kit Erlebach and Tony Hitchcock discussing the challenges of single-use technologies.
