Already, Crescent has been able to take advantage of VCS’s integrated video and web conferencing with the use of laptops and web cams for their internal meetings between their fields teams located across the nation. Crescent plans to leverage the meeting environment for consultant interviews, internal project planning, customer status meetings and internal training. This system will also provide Crescent an effective way to train field teams and new hires on Crescents daily operational systems including sales and project management.

In the future, Crescent plans to implement BrightCom’s ClearView Conferencing systems and Lumina Telepresence endpoints within their headquarters in Irvine, California and Lake Worth, Florida. These conferencing endpoints are powered by VCS and provide high definition, standard definition video and audio broadcasts. Alongside multiple data broadcasts, VCS can display up to 16 video broadcasts with an unlimited number of meeting participants broadcasting from desktop web cams, conference rooms or telepresence suites. Broadcasts are shown in a multi-screen layout chosen by the meeting moderator and are automatically adjusted across the number of screens at the endpoint.
