Marc Mondavi Offers Special Wine Tasting at Arizona's Arrowhead Grill
Dec. 18 Tasting to Include Some of Napa Valley’s Highest Regarded Vintages
Glendale, AZ, December 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Marc Mondavi, a member of one of Napa Valley’s most recognizable winemaking families, will host a special wine tasting event at Arrowhead Grill on Dec. 18.
Mondavi will offer a vertical tasting of four vintages of the Charles Krug Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon including his 1980, 1981, 2004 and 2006 Reserve VS Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Additional Charles Krug wines will be available during a special dinner prepared by Arrowhead Grill owner Charles Wade Schwerd.
The wine tasting will begin with Champagne at 6:30 p.m. and will move to the vertical tasting at 7 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:45 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 623-555-2224 and the cost is $85.
Mondavi is a third generation vintner who, along with his brother, Peter, Jr., oversees the Peter Mondavi Family stable of winery brands.
Schwerd has spent the past two decades carving out a reputation as one of the Valley’s finest chefs. His passion for food left an indelible stamp on restaurants such as Mastro’s Steakhouse, Mastro’s Ocean Club and Drinkwater’s City Hall Steakhouse, where he was founding chef.
