Suffield, CT, December 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Despite Tough Economy, Executive Valet Parking Expands
Bradley International Airport-based Company Adds Buses, New Facility, Staff
Premium off-airport parking services at a fair price continues to be a winning formula for Executive Valet Parking, whose flagship operation located near Bradley International Airport in Connecticut just made a big leap in growth. Owned by Guy Piccolo, who has devoted over 32 years to the business his father started, Executive Valet Parking recently put new shuttle buses online, promoted key staff, hired employees, and will open a new facility in Fort Myers, Florida this week.
The off-airport valet parking company recently added three new shuttle buses to its fleet providing pick-up and drop-off services at Bradley International Airport terminals. A fourth new bus will go online in January. The parking service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with around-the-clock lot security. Additional services available include vehicle detailing, washing, and oil changes done while a customer is away. Travelers are brought directly from and to their cars and assisted with their luggage. “With our on-demand service, a shuttle will be at the curb and ready to pick up a customer within minutes,” said Guy Piccolo. “Whether you’re a business or leisure traveler, a family or someone who needs wheelchair assistance, our service is convenient, safe, and reliable every time.”
In addition to its location on the Suffield/Windsor Locks, Connecticut line, the company expects to be in full operation on December 18 at Southwest Florida International Airport. Its new 3,155 square-foot-facility includes a state-of-the-art reception area and approximately 1,000 parking spaces. The company’s expansion into Fort Myers, Florida meant the creation of 40 new jobs in the new location as well as adds to staff in Connecticut and promotions for two assistant managers who were transferred to Fort Myers to become office manager and lot manager there.
Piccolo said it’s an ideal time to hire but not necessarily an easy time. “We didn’t even advertise our openings, but we had hundreds of applicants,” he said. “We were able to hire the best of the best. It’s always great to help people get back in the work force, especially in this difficult job market and at this time of year.”
Costs for the off-airport parking are expected to remain less expensive than parking currently available at both airports. Reservations made via the company’s website at www.executivevalet.com typically have discounts. For more information, call 1-800-218-1297.
