His involvement in Money Transfer began in 1996 when, as Regional Director, Middle East & Africa with Thomas Cook, he was actively involved in recruiting agents for MoneyGram across Africa and personally involved in the launch of MoneyGram in several key markets, including South Africa and Nigeria. Before joining Coinstar, Barry spent 5 very successful years as senior Regional Director with MoneyGram managing various European markets and major relationships such as the UK Post Office.
Barry has a degree in Banking & Finance, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and has a Certificate in Management from Oxford University. He is an alumnus of the Oxford Advanced Management programme and the General Management Programme of CEDEP.
