New Web Carbon Counter Shows Live Carbon Dioxide Readings
GHG Analytical's new web based Carbon Counter knows the "Heartbeat of the Planet."
San Francisco, CA, December 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- GHG Analytical continues to be a pioneer in the battle against Climate Change by unveiling its new Carbon Counter web tool. The Carbon Counter, available on www.GHGanalytical.com, shows the CO2 levels in air near its headquarters in South San Francisco. The Carbon Counter is the first of its kind on the web.
The counter is based on proprietary carbon dioxide measurement technology, developed in-house at GHG Analytical. GHG Analytical hopes that displaying public service information to everyday folks on the web will advance the science behind the relationship between CO2 levels and climate change.
Eventually, GHG Analytical hopes to take these counter nationwide. Even though global warming has become all but a scientific fact, real data on actual CO2 levels is hard to come by. A recent UN report, for instance, cited the need for over $60 billion in world-wide testing to create an ambitious worldwide inventory of carbon emissions. Although GHG Analytical’s sights are not set upon multi-billion dollar testing contracts quite yet, the company hopes to contribute to climate change research with its ambitious carbon dioxide tracking programs and technology.
