Two EMP Sites Named Summit Award Winners

Canton, OH, December 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "Reaching the pinnacle is impressive. Staying there, even more so. Each Summit Award winner must achieve and maintain the extraordinary," reads the description of a Summit Award winner. Summit Award winners have ranked in the 95th percentile or above in the Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores database for a minimum of three consecutive years.

For 2009 Lodi Community Hospital in Medina, Ohio and WRH Health System in Wadsworth, Ohio have both been named Press Ganey Summit award winners.

Recipients of the Summit Award truly set themselves apart from the competition. They do so through demonstrating their dedication to improvement and sustaining excellence in both quality of care and employee and physician satisfaction.

Less than 20 Emergency Departments nationwide are named in the recognition and for EMP to have two sites among that elite number is a fantastic accomplishment. Congratulations to those respective Directors, staff physicians and departments as a whole for their continued excellent care of their patients.

The winners of the 2009 awards were recognized at the National Client Conference luncheon on Nov. 17th.
