Ace Animals Publishes Its First Cat Care Book - Are You Getting Someone a Kitten This Christmas?
New book published to help people care for a new kitten or cat - with an increased number of kittens being given as presents this Christmas, the author hopes that anyone being given a pet as a present this year will have researched their pet first.

Having just published a book called The Cat Manual: The Complete Guide to Caring for your Feline Friend, she is hoping that people will think twice about getting someone a pet as a present this year. The book covers everything from choosing your first kitten right through to nutrition, grooming, health care and lots more and is full of helpful hints and tips for both beginners and more experienced cat owners.
Working for the RSPCA, Sarah says: “This is the first book in a series of pet care guides that I am writing on behalf of my own business, Ace Animals. The other books are due to be published over the next two years but felt that this year there seems to be a particular interest in kittens – there has been an increased interest in kittens over the last few weeks, presumably due to people wanting to get them as presents for family members.”
During difficult financial times, people must think carefully before acquiring a new pet as they often don’t come cheap. You should always think about getting your pet insured too as a trip to the Vets can prove very costly indeed. Although pets shouldn’t be given out as presents, at least if someone does get given a kitten or cat this Christmas, there is a helpful guide book available to help people every step of the way. Be extra cautious of kittens and cats around Christmas time though as a cat can be very difficult to retrieve from the top of your Christmas tree....
