NSCS and KODA Announce Partnership
Washington, DC, December 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- NSCS is pleased to announce its partnership with KODA.US, the premier online recruiting site for young professionals.
“NSCS is an honors organization for high-achieving first- and second-year students, and we’re committed to helping our members throughout their lives,” said Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS’ Executive Director. “Our members listed ‘finding a job’ as one of their top three goals for what they want to get out of their NSCS membership, and that’s why our partnership with KODA will especially benefit them.”
Once NSCS Members create a KODA account, they can use their profile to start compiling their interests, hobbies, and life experiences. They can review employer profiles, contact alumni who are working at those companies and discover if the company is a culture fit for them. In turn, KODA will customize a job search for profiled members, connecting them with the right job to launch their careers.
In addition, NSCS members have the added advantage of belonging to the NSCS group within KODA. Members within the NSCS group will be more visible to employers interested in recruiting high-quality employees with the academic success and special interests of NSCS members.
This makes it easier for NSCS members to stand out, as potential employers will be especially attentive to the NSCS group because it consists of the top 20 percent of students at more than 240 universities.
“We are very excited to be allied with NSCS,” said Jeff Berger, Co-founder of KODA. “We have more than 400 employers on our site looking for young professionals like the members of NSCS whose talents and skills go beyond a traditional resume. Unlike traditional job boards, we take an active role in each member’s search. It’s a very targeted way of learning about opportunities that he or she may never have realized existed. I think this partnership will really be a win/win.”
