India's Castle's 'Mother of All Indian Buffets' Brings Record Crowds

Greenwood Village, CO, December 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The event which took place at 9555 E. Arapahoe Rd. in Englewood, Colorado was a chance for local communities of Greenwood Village, Englewood, and Denver to try many different types of Indian food. The 'Mother of All Indian Buffets' began as an idea to help educate as well as impress potential patrons from around the local community about authentic Indian Cuisine.

The event which took place over the course of six hours allowed 260+ customers to try Indian food. Many of these people had never tried Indian food before, let alone been to an Indian restaurant. The manager, Gagan Banwait was quite impressed with crowds and thinks that "We could see ourselves doing this every year."

The crowd was treated to many items that are not normally found at an average Indian buffet. Preparation began early in the morning the day of the event. Marketing Director Chris Arnell told the crowd "This isn’t just curry chicken and rice."

The event set an India's Castle restaurant record for serving over 260 people in an evening. The Mike Boyle Restaurant Show did a live remote from the location starting at three and the doors opened at four. The show aired from 3pm – 5pm on KNUS 710AM. After the show the local radio host and restaurant aficionado Mike Boyle mingled with diners for a few hours. All in all, it was a treat for the community and a pleasure for the staff at India's Castle to host the event. As Gagan said the next day on live on the Mike Boyle Restaurant Show, "it was beautiful chaos."
