E&B Paving Promotes Steve Varner to Lead Indianapolis Area Office
E&B Paving, Inc., an Anderson, Ind.-based asphalt and concrete paving contracting firm, promotes Steve Varner to area manager of its Indianapolis office.
Indianapolis, IN, December 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- E&B Paving, Inc., an Anderson, Ind.-based asphalt and concrete paving contracting firm, announced Steve Varner has been promoted to area manager of its Indianapolis office. He previously was a senior estimator/project manager in E&B’s Noblesville, Ind. office.
Varner, 47, replaces Dan Paddock as the Indianapolis area manager. Paddock, who served in this position for 12 years, was appointed as the aggregate sales manager for E&B’s parent company, Irving Materials, Inc. (IMI). Both executives begin their new positions on January 1, 2010.
Prior to joining E&B in 2003 as an estimator/project manager, Varner was the executive director of Cardinal Greenway, Inc. During his career he has also worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and served as the Muncie, Ind. city engineer. While at E&B, Varner’s primary customer base has included INDOT, the cities of Carmel and Noblesville, and the Hamilton County Highway Department. A licensed professional engineer, Varner earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
