Healthcare Organizations Adopt Quantros Applications to Reduce Administrative Costs and Improve Quality and Patient Safety
Increased Regulatory and Quality Reporting Demands Encourage Hospitals to Adopt Automated Solutions
Boston, MA, December 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Quantros, Inc., an industry leader in healthcare data management and decision support solutions for safety, quality, compliance and prospective surveillance, continues to be the provider of choice for Core Measures and Patient Safety Event Reporting.
Quantros RRM™, now in use by more than 700 hospitals, helps hospitals coordinate and manage quality and physician performance reporting to meet stringent federal and state regulatory demands on time and accurately.
Navos Mental Health Solutions, a community mental health center based in Seattle, Washington, has selected the RRM HIBPS module for data collection and reporting to The Joint Commission’s Hospital Based Inpatient Psychiatric Services (HIBPS) program.
The Quantros Safety and Risk Management (SRM) solution was adopted by a number of organizations to help reduce the risk and impact of preventable medical events. Quantros SRM™ is a comprehensive platform of electronic event self-reporting, event tracking, monitoring and workflow management tools. SRM will help these organizations gather data to identify safety issues and track intervention performance in real time. SRM will also help achieve cost savings associated through increased claims reserves accuracy, increased productivity in preventable event management and a reduction in adverse events and extended stays.
Indiana’s Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Thayer County Health Services of Nebraska and Louisiana’s Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health Systems have adopted the Quantros Event Manager (EM) module for SRM to improve safety, reduce risk exposure and manage preventable safety events.
Strong Memorial Hospital, part of the University of Rochester Medical Center, South Carolina’s Laurens County Health Systems and Carle Foundation Hospital of Urbana, Illinois expanded their portfolio of solutions to include SRM’s Disruptive Event Manager (DEM). Quantros DEM™ will help them meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, reduce costs and build a safe, non-hostile work and care environment.
Carle Foundation Hospital along with New Jersey’s Atlantic Health System integrated the Quantros Triage Manager (TM) module into their SRM applications. Triage Manager increases event data reporting by reducing the amount of information initially required to report an event. Once a few details about the event are registered, a dedicated staff person is alerted and enters complete details.
Florida Hospital Waterman has adopted the Quantros ACE™ solution to manage their clinical improvement and accreditation compliance efforts. ACE is an electronic self-reporting system designed to collect, monitor, report and analyze accreditation and compliance data across a healthcare organization. ACE monitors compliance with multiple accreditation and regulatory standards including those of The Joint Commission, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), DNV and ISO.
Already reporting to the ACC CathPCI registry, Florida Hospital Waterman will now report to The Joint Commission as well.
“Healthcare providers continue to adopt and expand their portfolio of Quantros solutions,” states Chris Bethell, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Quantros. “There is an ongoing discussion of meaningful use and safer care sparked by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and other initiatives. Quantros solutions provide a very important, integrated bridge in helping provide a safer, more cost effective care environment.”
