Gines donates $1,000 to USVETS and raises awareness of the organization and its cause.
Honolulu, HI, December 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ken Gines, a sales associate with Century 21 All Islands, contributed $1,000 to the USVETS.
Gines, himself a veteran, says, "It is my pleasure to give something back to the veterans who helped protect this country, and raise awareness of this worthwhile and reputable organization. It is a great feeling to know that my contribution will serve those who served."
Over the past 15 years, USVETS has served more than 17,000 veterans in 6 states, and because of kind contributions by people like Gines, the organization is able to continue their mission, whish is "the successful reintegration of homeless and at-risk veterans." Recently, Ken attended the NAR convention in San Diego. When asked what he learned from the convention, he said, "At first, I was overwhelmed with all the good things that I took away from the convention then, this morning, it hit me! One of the speakers was crystal clear—our mission daily is to help people! I can only hope that one day I can represent Century 21 at the NAR presentation of realtors who give back to the community. This will be The Best and most moving memory I will have of the event. There, but for the grace of God go I."
