Maxwell & Dunne’s Steakhouse Teams Up with Stew Leonard’s Wines for Monthly Wine Dinners
Plainview, NY, October 15, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Maxwell and Dunne’s Steakhouse announced today that they now will be offering monthly wine dinners in association with Stew Leonard’s Wines of Farmingdale. Their first joint wine dinner will take place on Tuesday October 17 at 7pm at Maxwell and Dunne’s Steakhouse located at 1600 Round Swamp Road in Plainview. A five course Spanish themed dinner is planned and each course will be paired with one wine specifically chosen by the Stew Leonard’s wine team.
“The joining together of two dedicated, professional and customer oriented organizations is such a great thing for all of our customers” said Chris Palmer, Executive Chef and General Manager of Maxwell and Dunne’s. “Stew Leonard’s has a tremendous selection of wines that it made sense to work with them in a collaborative effort. Now our customers are offered the best wine selection both at the store, at the restaurant and enjoy a great meal at the same time,” continued Chef Palmer.
Joseph Sheehy, Wine Specialist / Educator at Stew Leonard’s Wine and Spirits, will be co-hosting the wine dinner and will offer tastings, background and insights into the different wines that are being served each evening. “Maxwell and Dunne’s focus on wine makes them a perfect restaurant for Stew Leonard’s Wines to partner with,” said Joseph. “Another benefit to attending the events is that if a customer finds a new wine that they like, all the wines served that evening will be available for purchase after the dinner.”
