Show Low, AZ, December 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Torreon Golf Community in Show Low, AZ introduces a new cross-country skiing trail for members and guests. Torreon is unique in that guests at the rental Villas and Lodges are accorded full member privileges, including access to the new cross-country trail, fitness facilities, and casual clubhouse dining.
Torreon is a 1400-acre master-planned community at the hub of Arizona’s White Mountains. Heavier than average snowfall have improved winter sports opportunities across the area, creating the perfect place for desert-dwellers from Phoenix and Tucson to share the fun. Skiing and snow-boarding are available at nearby Sunrise Park, which has three mountains, 10 lifts and more than 60 trails. Classes are available for beginning and intermediate skiers of all ages.
