Sueanne is now happy to mesh her insightful and unique knowledge of fashion and jewelry in this new blog, which will give humorous and practical everyday advice on how to put a look together.
New York, NY, December 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Sueanne Shirzay Jewelry is pleased to announce her new style blog “Does this look good on me?” www.doesthislookgoodonme.wordpress.com, which debuts Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
As a child, Sueanne watched her mother, an expert seamstress, whip up outfits that looked like they came straight off the runway for herself and her only daughter. Sueanne soon developed an appreciation for style, fit and color. Sueanne spent hours and hours drawing outfits on models, including hair, makeup and jewelry, and was hired part time at age 15 at a local ad agency to pursue her early ambitions.
As her own creative interests veered toward fine art and art direction, Sueanne studied Communication Design and Art Direction at Purdue University and Pratt Institute and graduated with a B.F.A. from Pratt. Upon graduation she worked for Scripps Howard and CMP Publications as a Designer and Art Director, and started her own Advertising and Publishing Design business, Shirzay Communications. This enabled her to work with several publications and companies and further develop her entrepreneurial spirit.
Sueanne started designing and making jewelry in 2008 when she signed up for a class she was offering in her own art gallery. She immediately started selling pieces and signed up with Etsy to offer a full line. This line can be viewed at www.sueanneshirzay.etsy.com. Her colorful and unique semi-precious jewelry is also available in several boutiques on Long Island.
