OHL Renews in Reno
Leading global supply chain solutions provider renews over 650,000 square feet of leases in 2009.
Reno, NV, January 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Brentwood, TN- based Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL), a leading provider of global supply chain management services, announced Friday that it has renewed over 650,000 SF of distribution space in their Sparks campus over the past four months. The decision further validates Northern Nevada as a key west-coast logistics hub. OHL is the largest third-party contract logistics provider in the region and currently operates over 1,300,000 square feet of distribution center space in Sparks on behalf of their clients. Jeb Atkinson with Brentwood, TN- based ProVenture conducted the location analysis and advised OHL on the renewals along with Bryan Gardner of Reno-based, Reno Warehouse Group/ RPM, Ltd.
OHL renewed their lease in a 383,000 square foot building owned by ProLogis and a 271,000 SF building owned by Selective Real Estate Investments based out of Southern California.
“OHL had multiple leases expiring coterminously in this campus so it made for somewhat of a puzzle”, says Atkinson, whose company also handled the lease negotiations. The project was somewhat of a consolidation and it allowed for better alignment of some of their clients and increased operational efficiencies.
Just from their Sparks campus alone, the company ships an astounding 15,000 orders each day to places all over the world. Products include coffee, books, medical supplies, food products and more. OHL entered the Northern Nevada market with it’s acquisition of ODC Integrated Logistics in 2002 and has maintained a strong presence in the region since then. OHL is one of the largest global contract logistics providers operating out of over 31 million square feet of distribution space worldwide.
