Chef Christopher Tong, of the upscale Chicago-based private gourmet dining service, My Private Chef, has been invited to the beautiful Cheney Mansion to present an elegant Winter menu. Chef Chris will conduct a cooking demonstration in the famous mansion's kitchen. It will take place on Monday, January 25 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Cheney Mansion, 220 Euclid Avenue, Oak Park, IL. Located 15 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Chicago, IL, January 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Chef Christopher Tong, of the upscale Chicago-based private gourmet dining service, My Private Chef, has been invited to the beautiful Cheney Mansion to present an elegant Winter menu. Chef Chris will conduct a cooking demonstration in the famous mansion's kitchen that includes hands-on participation. The gourmet menu includes: Winter Fruit Salad with Apples, Pears, Dried Cranberries, Cashews and French Brie cheese tossed in a Lemon Poppyseed Dressing;Caramelized Shallot and Thyme Panko-crusted Australian Rack of Lamb, served with Ratatouille and buttered Mashed Potatoes; Bananas Foster.

The class will take place on Monday, January 25, 2010 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Cheney Mansion, 220 Euclid Avenue, Oak Park, IL. Located 15 minutes from downtown Chicago. The fee is $70.00 per person.
