Kerry Henderson has been promoted to managing director of the firm’s Raleigh, N.C. office. Henderson, who joined Gibbs & Soell in 1995 and was named a shareholder and senior vice president in 2006, will be responsible for managing the agency’s client service and business operations in Raleigh. She currently oversees multiple account teams and has extensive experience serving business-to-business clients in the agribusiness and food industries.

Henderson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the National Agri-Marketing Association.
Henderson succeeds agency veteran Robert H. Bowman, who retired on December 31, 2009 after more than 32 years with Gibbs & Soell. Bowman worked in both New York and Chicago prior to opening the Raleigh office in 1988.
